1EM Event to Feature Speed Networking in Blackburn

On Thursday 20th March, 1 Events Media will host a business networking event in Blackburn, featuring a half-hour ‘speed networking’ session and an opportunity for delegates to obtain direct, one-to-one advice from a panel of experts specialising in marketing, product placement and segmentation, international trade and business growth. 

The event will be held in the evening between 5.00pm and 7.00pm at The Business Development Centre, Eanam Wharf, Blackburn, BB1 5BL. 

The speed networking stage of the event provides an opportunity for business owners and managers to meet like-minded individuals, as well as accessing potential commercial opportunities by engaging with customers and suppliers. In addition, the ‘meet the experts’ stage will allow delegates to speak in private with one or more of the five business specialists. 

Organised with support from UK Trade & Investment and the regional branch of The Chartered Institute of Marketing, there will be two experienced chartered marketers present on the day to answer questions about marketing, growth opportunities and product placement, whilst an advisor from UKTI will be on hand to deal with enquiries about the support available to companies interested in trading overseas. Both of 1EM’s directors, Mubarak Chati and Shakeel Desai will also be on hand to deal with enquiries about leadership, coaching, and general business support. 

“The event will provide entrepreneurs and business leaders an avenue to network and share good business practice,” said 1EM director Mubarak Chati. “We ran a successful event prior to Christmas in Preston and the excellent feedback received has encouraged us to replicate the event in Blackburn.
