New Complete Khair Website to Raise Funds for BME Charities
1 Events Media has joined forces with an official NHS supplier to launch a new online store specialising in discounted care products for people who are looking after elderly or disabled relatives at home.
Aimed primarily at British Asian families, www.completekhair.co.uk offers a comprehensive array of products – ranging from specialist moving and handling equipment to everyday household aids – all of which are available with UK-wide delivery, often free from VAT.
Designed to help people to live more independently or to care for family members who need additional support, Complete Khair has been launched in conjunction with Complete Care Network. The company works with care associations across the UK and specialises in enabling home carers to save money. As a result of this collaboration, the new site is able to pass on substantial cost savings to customers.
Unlike competing sites, Complete Khair does not exist solely to make a profit: it will also raise funds for charities that promote better health amongst people from BME backgrounds and organisations that seek to create more tolerant, multicultural communities.
“1 Events Media is involved with a wide range of businesses, charities and community groups throughout the North West,” explains company director Mubarak Chati. “We have always felt that it is important for companies to be part of the local community and to give something back, and setting up Complete Khair seemed like an excellent way to do this.
